Carolina Summer Music Festival

  The Carolina Summer Music Festival
Welcome!

The Carolina Chamber Symphony Players is excited to announce our inaugural season of the Carolina Summer Music Festival, which runs from August 14-31 and features eight diverse programs and 27 talented artists from throughout the Piedmont Triad.

The Festival will have its home base at historic Old Salem Museums and Gardens, but concerts will also be presented at venues around Winston-Salem, including the Reynolda House Museum of American Art and the Jon Kuhn Gallery.

Our concerts include something for all musical tastes and ages, and we’ve kept ticket prices extremely affordable for all.
Carolina Summer Music Festival
The Carolina Summer Music Festival kicks off with a week-long celebration of George Gershwin in both jazz and classical concerts. The second week features “Sparkling French,” performed in the gallery of world-renowned glass artist Jon Kuhn, and “Music from Revolutionary Salem” with works from the Moravian Music Archives. On two consecutive Saturday mornings we present “Carolina Scrapbook,” a fun multi-media performance for the whole family. And in the final week, we feature a variety of Festival artists at the beautiful, historic Zevely House Restaurant, and the Festival finale with two Beethoven works: Serenade for Flute and Strings and his majestic Septet.

Click other pages on this website for more complete program details and ticket information. A video introduction to the festival is also available.

We hope to see you in August!
